How fast was the world's fastest tennis serve?

On June 11, 2004 at the Stella Artois Championships Andy Roddick was pitted against Paradorn Srichaphan at the Queen's Club in London, UK.

Andy Roddick defeated Paradorn Srichaphan 6-3, 6-3 then went on to win against Lleyton Hewitt in the semifinal and knocked out Ivo Karlovic to capture the 2004 Stella Artois Championship title.

But we go back to the match against Paradorn Srichaphan, during which Andy Roddick set a new world' record when his serve was clocked at a sizzling 246.2 km/h or153 mph.

The record for the fastest serve by a woman was set by Venus Williams on October 16, 1998 at 127.4 mph.
